RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D
Guys,
I have been on RC universe for about a year. This site has replaced TV for me. At the end of a long hard day I sit down in my chair with my laptop, and enjoy discussing my favorite hobby with a bunch of nice guys. I have to say that 99% of the people that I have met on here are good people. When I went to visit Downtrodden in the U.P., we had a discussion on that very subject. People seem passionate about this hobby, and it is fun to discuss a common interest with people from all around the world.
Thank you motorhead, I3DFU (charming name), and JimRoss for coming on in and expressing your opinion. We welcome your opinion. I am sure the Chin Yak is an great plane. It is not so much what you say, it is how you say it. If you were to come in and say something like FYI guys, I have flown the Twist and other 3D planes, and the Twist is not that great of a 3D plane. You may want to consider the Chin Yak if you want a serious 3D machine. Just my .02.
That would be a nice way to come into a conversation. Offer your opinion in a decent way. Coming in saying "I can't believe it took 208 pages to figure out this not a real airplane," just makes people defensive. No one wants to hear that something they love sucks. If you think it sucks, that's cool, either keep it to yourself, or say so with some tact. I think we welcome all opinions, we just don't want to be made to feel like idiots. Make sense?
