Default RE: FS One setup help w/ futaba

ORIGINAL: griffin

Thanks Michael,
I'll go back and recalibrate and change to axis 2.
As far as the MS game calibration, should my sticks be working the crosshair up and down and left and right normally or does that matter?
Good question. Ans: MS Game calibration - does not matter. That's just a way to see if you have things plugged in and working.

All that matters is that you set the Axes in FS One to drive the appropriate servos. It's sort of like plugging in servos to a receiver, except in this case you're swapping around the axes to drive the servos.

What you're going to see is that when your Futaba radio is plugged into the FS One USB Interface, then the Axis numbers will not change. In other words, the right stick (aileron) will always be Axis 4, and so on. If you write down the the aixs number for each function on your real Tx + FS One interface, then reassigning the axis assignments in FS One will be a lot easier next time.
