I agree with Fastsky. The LT-40 is a great trainer, very stable and easy to see...(even for an old guy). Be sure and read the reviews on the LT-40 - they speak for themselves. I have the JR radio and have seen a JR to Futaba buddy box cord. Maybe someone else will respond with the website/vendor where it's available.

Ever which trainer you choose, be sure and get flight instruction. I am a new member at a local club and have learned a tremendous amount by just chatting with the folks that have been doing this for a few years. There are some great people in this wonderful hobby.
