I'm not sure of the persons' name. The salesman was very helpful and tried his best to help I think it was Jerry or Jimmy something like that He was great the other person just sounded like his hands were tied and there was nothing he could do to help me out.. When you look up my account you will see that i have made a couple of buys from you my last one being the Cessna 310 ARF.
As for the balsa issue. I would be happy to send you my Fuse and tail feathers in place of new ones. You would see that the wood used in the tail is very soft and by soft I mean it seems to have allot of air in the wood, not very dense. When this type of wood is used in an area such as a elevator the amount of force needed to break it is not very great. The way that this tail is designed is such that there is very very little support where the elevator meets the fuselage. The leading edge and the trailing edge are unsupported when they exit the main fuselage structure. There is not any type of internal support for the wood such as triangle gussets at the seams. I work in the LA area and would be happy to maybe come by one weekend and show you what I am talking about. I'm just not sure where you guys are located. The plane as it is built is not correct in the tail area.
I do not need a new tank as I have replaced it with a Hayes unit. But I would like to get a cowl if possible.
