I would just try the stock setup first it handles great with it. There is one thing I would change though and that would be the clutch springs. The manual tells you to use the silver springs on the carbon shoes and gold on the aluminum shoes. I found this to be to stiff of a setup so I went to using the gold springs on the carbon shoes and black springs on the aluminum shoes.
The buggy does like to ride pretty high so adjusting your droop screws to limit the suspension travel would also be a good idea. If you have problems with traction rolling then moving all four lower shock positions to the outside hole helped a lot. It made the buggy feel a lot stiffer and more responcive but it would bounce a little more through bumps. Atleast it didn't traction roll though

. A friend of mine tried using 50f-40r for shock oils and liked it more then the stock 35-35 so it would be worth a try.
Edit: P.S. You need to keep the clutch clean when using 2 carbon and 2 aluminum! The carbon will melt onto the aluminum shoes making the clutch slip more and also wear out faster. It seemed to do fine for an entire raceday (one practice tank, three 5min heats, one 5min A-Main) but I had to clean them after each day. I am going to try a 4 shoe aluminum setup like savage did but my shoes are still backordered from horizon for the past month or so [:@]. It looks like nitrohouse has everything in stock for them.
I'm pretty sure that King headz makes those shoes for Losi, they have them and you can go to
