I have one of the original H9 T-34s and like it very much. It flies great and is very responsive. I agree with drone pilot that this plane needs speed on landing. My Mentor has an OS-50SX (2-stroke) engine and Hobbico mechanical retracts. The retracts and wire struts have given me a bit of trouble, but then that could be a result of my landings.

By the way, the markings on the new red and white T-34 (the "E" on the vertical stab) represent aircraft assigned to Commander Training Air Wing Five, based at Naval Air Station Whiting Field, near Milton, FL.
