eflight makes 2mm press on 8T pinions that fit out beloved motors. 5400kV is too hot; you'd probably need a 6T or something, and that might still be too tall. also, if you had a programmable tx to reduce the headspeed electronically, you'd probably lack rpm and the motor would be very inefficient. even with 4100kV and 8T, my motors rpm barely reaches the sweet spot.

imho, i'd keep looking at trading for a 4100kV.
