I'm with Matt as far as the "Kyrlon Fusion" goes,It give's you a hard durable finish and has a nice glossy appearance.
On the keel of my boat I airbrush on Testor's turquoise and it has a bunch of scratch's in it now
(2 year's)the Krylon does'nt have a mark on it.
Also if you make no other modification to the boat,Fiberglass the keel it is very weak at the joint.
If you put the keel together and hold it out parallel to the ground you can see the bulb droop,If it breaks off while your sailing the boat will capsize and sink.
