I thought about the tape at the rear of the canopy also, but last night ended up fitting a small piece of velcro between the 2 rear magnets recessed down a bit so that the magnets still catch and I have flown it 3 more times with no problems of it coming off. Moving the cg has helped quite a bit and she's now flying great. I have been flying for approx 13-14 minutes on the 4s 2150mah and using about 1800 mah and with the himax motor I'm using the power is awesome. I'm sure the torque motor fairs just as well. I find it not too difficult at all to hover with the 12X6. I do think I will try a 3s pack just to compare the two. With the 4s the battery is just in front of the wingtube and sticks maybe 1/2 inch or so into the motor box. I just wonder how far forward the 3s would have to be to get the same balance point. That is balancing slightly aft of center of the cg range.
