Default RE: FS One setup help w/ futaba

ORIGINAL: Taken Down

Picked up the FSone and found out my Futaba 9Cap will not work.

The plug will not fit,Do I need to buy a new Adapter?
should have got the one with the radio.
Included in the box is the round connector that works w/ Hitec and some Futaba. For the 9cap, the micro square is needed and the Horizon part number is HANS3030. Above someone reported that the AFPD cable works ... but the AFPD that I have did not come w/ a micro square connector - must be an addon. If you have a spare square micro connector, then it can be wired up to work.

[Edit - I'll add that it's too bad the RC tx manufacturers did not decide on just one standard.

Here's a new FAQ that has more info on the cable side of things:

What adapter cables come with FS One? What adapter cables do I need? (Q1038-FS1, 11/1/06)
