Default VOLCANO SV upper arms

Just out of curiosity, has or does anyone's upper arms have excess slop in them? Since day one when I opened the box, my driver side upper arm had a TON of slop at the hinge pin. By the time it got to the wheel, it was just crazy. It was almost as if it was missing a shim, but it had 2, just like the passenger side. Anyway, due to a hi-speed crash into a chain-link fence, I needed to replace a lower arm. I ordered a whole new set, as I'm sure I'll need a part eventually, and replaced all 4 front arms. To get back to the point, when I put the upper arms back on, it was better, but still seemed a bit loose. I put some small flat washers in there to tighten up the slop. Worked like a charm! You'll notice I ended up using one of the 2 shims that were originally there. Basically it's just adding an extra shim, but I feel better knowing that the washers are metal and larger in diameter. They give it a more solid feel.
