OR, rearrange the electronics and modify the speaker housing so that when you rotate the turret at the right spot you can lift the turret off and slip the battery out, or charge it without removing all those screws. Here's a pic of my M26A1:



I also deleted the electronics tray and shimmed the DMD so that is did sit level, reducing the overall height. Later, I did install Deans connectors for the battery and hard wired both DMD and Mulitfunction battery leads to save even more space.
