The only visible differences I find in these two carbs-- is location of low speed and high speed ports in the bore.
Other than that -the rest of the carb functions the same -
inverted /upright on my ZDZ's is perfect -always - no "air-on-the -diaphragm-"problems
so is there a functional difference between 201-76 you know of?
The discharge port setup on the 201 sure works better on my engines (rotary valves)
on the DA -does this tend to cause overrich at closing throttle/ then puddling in the reed setup ?
The 201 chokes far more easily than the 76 -at least in the half dozen examples I have swapped . also low/high needle relationship is easier to adjust
It looks like the proximity of th discharge port to the throttle blade is related
Got any ideas ?
