RE: TT10 convwersion on the way
Ted if you go back on the posts you will see I was flying mine in a VMAR cub electric conversion runs forever on 2 oz of fuel easy to start and set and QUIET in fact it was flown at an electric site and quieter than the geared electrics the compression screw as a knurled top with a spring under it to stop any drift of the screw no allen wrench needed just twist the knob I left it alone at the running setting and used a 1/2 A starter yes you can hand flip it but the electric start is instant as soon as it warms up maybe 30 seconds and tweak the needle usally not needed from last time it is a bushed engine I have used both 1/2A and Plane fuel in it
(davis) you can use thin wall aluminum tubing all the way to the back of the plane ad it stays clean, no backpressure issues with diesel. I would land ,fuel, take off and pass the transmiiter around the electric chaps would have to change batteries and wait 10 minutes
or so for the motor to cool off before flying again
the same head fits the TT10 and OSLa and FP I believe the LA series replaces the FP in the OS line
bottom line you cannot go wrong It NEVER quit in the air unless a dry tank martin
