I don't know why everyone blasts QWW. Yes, Irwin (the owner) is an extrovert and is never short of words. He is very street smart and he is an entrepreneur. And people have bashed Irwin and his products relentlessly and have been very insulting to him. But I find Irwin and his staff to be pleasant, helpful and informative.

As far as the helicopters from QWW, my wife just bought me a Quick Pro 50 for my birthday (boy I love her). And the heli looks like a beautiful piece of machinery. To get the equivalent in a Raptor you would have to spend allot of money on bling.

Truth be told, I have been flying a Raptor 30V2 and a Raptor Titan. I wanted something different so I went down and talked to Irwin (about a 20 minute drive from my house). A search on this website and runryder.com revealed some very negative posts regarding missing pieces and quality problems. But most of the problems seem to have been rectified by QWW immediatly. If you think that you are going to get a Raptor or some other heli and not have missing pieces or some other problem you better think again. And at least in my case and your case we are just a few minutes away from Coopersberg.

What I am saying here is that QWW may have had quality problems in the past but they seem to stand behind their product. And they are a few miles from where you live. So, if they have something that you like, I would buy it. If not, buy something else.
