Hey Scott,
Nice to meet at Superman! If you have any questions on this hawk ( Or any one else for that matter ) just shot me a mail at
[email protected]
I have had about 15 flights on mine now and I love it. Yes it is a little light ( Mine weighs in at 19.5 kg ) But I am fixing that over winter, by adding some more detail and functions such as smoke. Yes some people think it is a little underpowered ( personally I think it is spot on ) But I will also deal with that by removing the P-160 and fitting the new Graupner turbine through winter.
I love flying this model. It is so easy and precise, its a bit like the first time I flew a shock flyer. i never realised how easy 3d flying could be with such a low wing loading. This model has the same effect for jet flying. An indication of how great I think the plane is...... The day I received mine I straight away ordered another turn key version, and was happy to wait the full 12 months for it to arrive. Also I order 4 more kits for stock, and 3 of these are already pre sold.
Yes there is a long delay in getting one, but these are hand made masterpieces. The attention to detail will blow your mind. Yes they may seem expensive for you guys in the U.S, but trust me you are not paying over the odds. It's worth every penny. Only problem I see with them is that they are so darn impressive that once everybody gets their hands on one it's going to become awfully hard to make a impression at a jet show soon.......
I am trying my hardest to work it so I can bring my Hawk to Floria jets.......
Hope this helps?
Regards Al
