you can use a spring or just make a "v" bend in the middle of the 2-56 piano wire brace. very effective in eliminating bent gear and reduce bouncing. I think there was a thread somewhere on this "how to take out the bounce of a landing gear" or something that sounds like that. Do a search. Otherwise I'll post a pic of mine.......
