I have had this motor for years. Maybe 12 years ago I tried a glow conversion with a 4stroke glow plug (silver soldered into a cut-down plug). It has a barrel slide carb on it (not original). I was running 25 or 40% nitro glow fuel (as is). It wouldn't idle, but seemed to run well. I just hooked a AA battery to it. Now, with a 38 page gas-n-glo thread, I see I may have been on to something.





I think it is an (old) Echo 20cc. I cut the crank down, and trimmed more metal off of it last night. It is down to 1lb 13oz. I might expend a little more effort on it. Neat how the mount is built in and it has a two-ended crank. The flywheel is (was) keyed to the crank (no taper, 8mmx1.25). It has tight, round, barrel fins and an angled plug. Anybody positively ID it? Any insight into it's possibilities ? Thanks, MIKE
