Default an interesting question, i think

in on or around 1986, i was thinking of doing the rc flying, but at the time it was very expensive and time consuming for a teenager. of course now its a bit easier to do with the arf technology and all. but i was thinking of that first time in a hobby store, with my buddy, and wondering aloud how one would learn to fly without crashing..... and over to the side, listening in a touch, was a gentleman i would say in his early 60's, and he said.." its not if your going to ever crash, its just when." that has stuck with me all these years, almost 20 to be exact, and they are learned knowledge that i let talk me into my first plane about 3 years ago, and im glad i listened, cause let me tell you, especially being self taught how to fly, THERE WILL BE CRASHES...........SEVERAL OF 'EM. one thing ive really learned, is repair. I was wondering if there were any other bits of wisdom that everyone remembers and what really got them going as far as flying the radio control.

my bit of wisdom: BITE OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW...people tend to overrate it. (that goes for anything)
