Default RE: Peter Rake ARFs

that's fine. But how about a link to some place we can see these Peter Rate planes. I've searched all over and found a couple of non-functional links. RC Groups has some threads on Rake kit builds. The ones I found were for smaller planes. Some info on the size of plane you are talking about would be critical. The world cries out for some 1/4 size ARF WWI warbirds.
the world cries out for 1/4 scale ww1 warbirds?

K&W do a while range of museum quality 1/5th scale ww1 types and shipping is horrendous to anywhere.

1/4 scale would be even worse. i dont think the world cries out for them actually. the idea for WW distribution is being able to make it logistically possible. Electric also gets quite expensive at those larger scales so immediately your demographic dwindles to a feasibility assessment.

Actually i guess my post was more directed at PR followers as they know of his achievements- my apologies.

Antoehr place you might want to checkout is arizona model aircrafters for larger scale e ww1 types.

generally kits are better for the larger scales IMO. easier to build, can be shipped economically and reasonably priced. Because of being kits they dont suffer as directly to the other aspects of distribution.
