I have a YS .63 that has never ran right since the day I bought it (the one with the regulator mounted on the push rods). It's been in storrage for about 1 1/2 years and I want to give it another try. The things I remember about it was that it's not getting top RPM (compaired to my other .63 with the built in regulator) and transition is slower. The low end needle is backed out so the head actually sticks out of the carb, just to get it to run. I want to start fresh with the retry so my questions are.

1) What are the factory needle settings?
2) How do I know if the check valve is working correctly?
3) How do I know if the regulator is doing it's job?
4) How do I know if the diaphram is still OK?

I'm using Wildcat 20/02 blend with a 12-6 APC and an OS letter F plug.
