you remove the 4 screws that hold on the pullstart and put the rotostart plate on in its place, i would suggest getting an hpi pullstart for the nitrostar.15 since you will need a backplate, rotostart wand, 7.2v battery and a charger for the battery in order to use the rotostart and also make sure you have the battery charged.
yea i installed the hpi rotostart on my himoto syclone and it was a piece of cake... i just use a cordless drill and the hpi rotostart wand and it works fine.....
