Here’s a stupid question. Is it ok to run the converted G26 on a test stand? I’d like to learn the running procedures (this is my 1st Gaser), brake in the engine and test the smoke system before installing the engine in the airframe.

Just like Blkbird68 said, it's okay to do so, just don't not run your gas motor blubbering rich as you would a ringed glow engine. Adjust the HS needle for max rpm and back off 300, and then tune the LS needle for best transition. Just like glow, running a gas motor lean is a big no no.
