Good call on the wing... I had forgotten about that. The fuse definitely looks like an Avanti II though... the wing was probably bashed like you said to make it look more like the Aurora.

That takes me back though... I remember getting that Avanti II back in the early days of R/C City... Tell Jim what engine and what retracts, and he would build it up for I think around $350 to an ARC level... Might have been slightly more than that, but not by much... Wow, how times have changed.
