I've placed a GPS in a 3.5 tunnel, did not seem to lose speed at all. The fuel cell holds 6 oz of fuel, when the boat burns half of that, the GPS + 1/2 a tank of fuel is equal to the total weight of the boat without the GPS and a full tank of fuel.
