An outrigger can be very difficult to set up correctly for a beginner - I suggest a small mono, surface drive of course. Good luck!

I know outriggers are hard to set up... What size prop and hull would you say for a mono hull?

Oh, also, I don't really want to go lipo. About gearboxes, has anyone got any links for gearboxes that are cheap in the UK?
