I have a "minature avionics" optical tach, but theres one thing that can't figure out. you can aparently get two vastly different readings of the head speed. eg.. 1000 & something around 2000
i figure its because the strobe effect is either catching it at a half revolution or a full revolution. so how can you figure which one it is.
