Default RE: Drift Help

i find that suspension settings dont make too big of a difference, and as long as its set up equally on both sides, it should drift well. as for techniques, don't go full throttle on the straights or before the turn since you need that full throttle punch to initiate the drift, or atleast thats what i do. i find what helps me get in the groove as a warmup i try to throw my car as hard as i can into a drift, and try to overcompensate the oversteer as soon as possible. then work my way to the point where i know when to start counter steering in order to get a good drift started. this should help you get used to the proper point of countersteer. when you're in a drift, you don't always have to have any throttle. you can initiate the drift, counter steer with some throttle, then let go of the throttle and feel out how much throttle you need from there to continue the drift and at what angle you want it at.
