You would want to add some epoxy to the root-ribs of the wings and then install them as the manual suggests. The Epoxy will do about the same thing that the metal straps do - That is, it will hold the two wing-halves together.

For the tail, have the stab in place, and draw a line on both sides of the fuse (Top and bottom - using the fuse as a straight-edge). Remove the Stab and cut away the covering about 1/8" inside the lines you just drew (Being careful not to cut too deeply into the wood). Remove the covering and epoxy the stab back in place (NOTE: Use 30-minute epoxy. You will need time to get all of this done and alligned before the epoxy sets)

Now add some epoxy to the tab on the bottom of the Fin and continue to install it as per the instructions.
