I have a long standing tradition when it comes to crashed airplanes, provided they are deemed totalled. I pull everything off the plane of any value then I burn it right there at the field. It is sort of a viking funeral. Lets just say I am releasing its spirit of flight back to the feild, sort of a conservation of flight karma. People look at me like I'm crazy, but when I explain my theory they seem to nod in agreement and accept that my intentions are good.
