we are currently testing a new device.(not for sale yet)
it is not hazardous or agressive against electronics or anything else
we can activate them by using eather: electronic ignition (immidiatly) / Thermocord 172 C/ the device itself (300 C)
the tests are looking good and this seems to be a winner to handle fires we cant get to easely.
the install weight will be no more then 100 grams.
it is chemical based ,and this is the principle:

When activated, the Extinguishers sets off a reaction whereby the aerosol binds the free radicals released during combustion.

The aerosol released from the Fire Extinguishers combats and extinguishes fire not by using the suffocation (depletion of oxygen) or cooling methods, but by stopping the reaction of combustion at molecular level (by binding free radicals) without depleting the oxygen content.

The aerosol comprises micro-sized particles suspended in inert gas in an extremely high ratio between the exposed surface and reaction mass (therefore reducing the quantity of active material necessary for the extinguishing action). Particles of such minute dimensions remain in suspension for a relatively long time, allowing them to flow into the natural convection currents present in combustion. This increases the efficiency of the extinguishing agent.
