There are alot of great entry level buggies which is all you need if you are not going to race this. As stated earlier, paying a little more for better radio/reciever pays off down the road. DO NOT BUY USED!!!!!!!!!! The ONLY time you should buy used is if you are just getting a roller, or don't care if the engine/electronics are screwed up.

If you really don't care about the radio system, it is hard to beat the OFNA line. They are tough vehicles and are made for bashing. The Hyper 7 TQ RTR can be had for $299. That gives you money to buy some better tires, spares and fuel/plugs.
