Addendum to my above post:

When I returned home from work today, I had received an e-mail from Nitro Planes. They informed me about the shipping fees for my order and, before the order was finalized, wanted me to confirm that the costs were acceptable. They were and the transaction was completed. Thank you Nitro Planes. Nitro Planes, I do stand by my original observation/recommendation that shipping info, even if only an educated or historical estimate, would be most beneficial to the Canadian consumer. I'm looking forward to the arrival of my FW 190
