I found out to "choke" it really helps, finger over muffler opening a few seconds when turning over, will help fire it up, don't over do it , or you will be pulling the glow plug. The cold makes the oil thicker and harder to draw....

hope it helps 3 degrees outside with a 16 below wind chill and it fires right up...
