Default cold o.s. 32sx-h

has anyone had trouble starting an o.s. 32sx during cold weather? it's been in the 20's and 30's in atlanta and my engine has been a major pain to start. the first start is fine fresh from the warm car, but after it cools to outside temps, it is almost impossible. i'm using 15% cool power. any suggestions?
thanks,
gregg

I have the same problem, im in florida, and the past few days have been in the low 30s, as far as I know, there isn't much you can do about it. I just keep the starter cranking her over until she warms up enough to turn over.

Squirt some lighter fluid in the carb to prime it. Should fire right up. You can also use a glow igniter (not ni-cad but from the power panel), leave it on the plug for awhile (like a diesel), helps to warm the head. Last resort, put it back in the warm car!

I found out to "choke" it really helps, finger over muffler opening a few seconds when turning over, will help fire it up, don't over do it , or you will be pulling the glow plug. The cold makes the oil thicker and harder to draw....

hope it helps 3 degrees outside with a 16 below wind chill and it fires right up...
