Default RE: GP Cap 232

I had one of these Caps this past year (notice I said "had"), this is one great flying plane ! It does not have any bad habits of the old Caps that were out there and when it came to landing it this one was almost like a trainer. Mine was lost due to a freak thing happening, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Was flying the week before Thanksgiving on my first flight of the day and was doing one last pass before landing and heard a weird noise only to discover that the prop was broken to pieces and part of the stab had a chunk missing and had been knocked loose ! Needless to say they don't fly like this, the plane "pancaked" in breaking the fuse, wing and tail section. I had a Brison 3.2 engine in the plane and it was a great combo, after inspection of everything what was determined was something I have never seen happen before, the head on the hardened hex bolt that holds the spinner on had sheared off the bolt itself and allowed the spinner to come off, breaking the prop and doing extensive damage in other areas of the plane resulting in a total loss of the airframe! So my point to the whole matter is please check the bolt that holds the spinner cone in place, if any signs of wear REPLACE IT !! Just before this thing hit the ground, I was thinking one thing what can I put this Brison in ? I came out with no damage to the engine and the electronics. God Bless and Merry Christmas
