Default RE: The new Lanier Edge 87"

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5160787/tm.htm

I am looking very hard at the Lanier 87" plane as a cheaper throw around plane.

Right now I favor the Edge over the Yak just because it it looks like it comes in about 1/2 - 3/4 pounds less with the same wing area. Also, I think the Edge may be slightly more stable at lower speed at a heavier wing loading.

It will most likely be powered with a 60 to 80cc single cylinder and cheaper Digital 56X5MG servos that I have on hand.

Anyone have any input that would confirm or deny my leaning toward the Edge over the Yak?

Thanks and Happy holidays all.
