I agree, seeing the modifications that are being made it might be under 30lbs, but will it be safe. When you build and fly Giant Scale planes you have a responsibility to make sure you are being safe. This project makes no sence. Why would you want to fly a 40% airplane with a 100cc motor? There are other motors you could choose if you want to make a light plane. IMO this is just a wast of a plane.
