Default RE: SIG Rascal 110 or Lainer Yak 54

Are you pullin' my leg? You're trying to choose between a Rascal and a Yak?

I agree that many 3D planes are as easy to land as trainers...sometimes easier. If you're not kidding about your question, then I'll recommend the Rascal over the Yak. Things will happen more slowly with the Rascal...the Yak isn't a difficult plane to fly, but the rascal seems like it might be a better fit for you based upon the fact that you asked the question at all. You could put floats or skis on...where you live that might be a plus! Small gas engine would make the plane easy to deal with (I've all-but given up glow...especially large glow engines...what a pain!)

If you were to go with a 50cc Yak, I'd recommend the Aeroworks #1, #2 would be the BME...I think Ultra-RC has a new one(?), there are a few others, but the importers are flaky and you might find that a few months down the road that there are no replacement parts available. The Lanier wouldn't even be on my list.

this plane, or...

This one....

You're kiddin' us, right?

Good luck with whatever you decide!
