Many, many thanks for the help, I believe too it's a "one of a kind" motor maybe somebody will name the designer someday. I had even not noticed that it was a Taplin carb on it !

, this "beautée" was probably a prewar I (circa 1910) Letang engine made by a Mr Letang in Paris to power a mahogany speedboat on the Bois de Boulogne Lake (see the old postcard) ....We are far from from the diesel topic but it worth it !
