I purposely stood my DA further out just for that reason (scale looks and CG)... 3/4" further isn't much, and isn't noticable because of the spinner not having anything to "align to".
The firewall was designed specifically for the D50... so the stock muffler/or pipe would fit without hitting the engine box. Kind of hard to implement a solution for a variety of bolt and carb patterns... like some engines don;t need the carb outlet at all becasue they are sidemounted.
Extending the firewall down for the ZDZ shouldn't be too big a deal.. but it is a delay...
