I now have about 30 flights on my Patty Wagstaff Comp Arf 300sx and love this plane. Engine is now run in and I am starting to have fun with it. Slow flying characteristics are just awesome. It harriers beatifully and hovers with ease.
I Flew my dads super extra 3 days ago which is only the 2nd giant scale I have ever flown. My 300sx being the first. I was pleased to find out the bigger super extra felt very similar to the 2.6 300sx in almost every way. The 300sx has much less knife edge coupling however. Put it this way I felt no desire to run out and buy a bigger model after flying the comp Arf Super Extra vs the 300sx.
The painted spinner arrived last week which I now need to cut and install to replace the carbon fiber one on it now.
