Hi Brian. I maidened my 3D Buddy Katana today. I'm just getting into 3D and this little plane seems to be the ticket. I'm using an Esskay 400XT Brushless with 18Amp ESC: Berg 7 ch receiver: TP 9Gram servos and 1000MAH 15C 3S1P LiPo. I was surprised at the speed and response of this bird. The best part is bringing it back in one piece ( Even with a less than perfect landing on the wheels, Had to land down wind on rough grass). The instructions were great and it went together fast. The only negitive is the main wing is a bear to get off for storage.But because it is a small plane, I'll just leave it on.
