Thanks a lot for your reply.
I envy you your time on the full size, I have around 19,000 hours but nil on the T-28.
Surprisingly the Saito 120 makes 2.2 HP and the 170 is 2 HP, but it sounds like it would get by.
I don't want to be a nuisance, but I noticed the T-28 has what looks like cowl gills around the 10 and 2 o'clock positions and I was wondering if you think the rocker covers could fit in these positions and be concealed by the partly open gills.
I guess the alternative is to lay up a new cowl to gain the 1/4 " on each side but I don't want to spoil the looks of such a great looking model.
