For RC I take interest in all the Cold War subs, but the $20 Wal-Mart boats are about my limit. They're ready-to-run, so I don't have to remember to keep many tools and tiny parts out of my three-year-old's reach. I do look more at RC subs with a basis in history or authenticity, though.
