Default Found A Plane!

I've decided to go with the Midwest Aero-Star .40 kit. KenLambert has offered his for $75 shipped on the kits for sale section. I got some good points to decide on a kit first. Also, I really enjoy building projects. This one should really test my skills! I can't wait to start. Haven't gotten a pm or response from him yet though.

I'm also gonna be looking for some books to help me in the building/covering and set up of the plane. I've been doing quite a bit of research so far, but there's still a lot of stuff I need to find out. Found some books on Tower Hobbies with help of this thread.

Like first of all, could anyone give suggestions for a good engine? This is one of the areas I'm reading up on too. Like the difference between bb and bushing engine types and the good/bad brand names. I'd like to get something where I wouldn't have to upgrade to later but something I can still keep control of....and have fun too when off the cord!

Man, I'm getting even more excited just typing this! Well, you guys will be hearing from me in the near future on my progress. I got a digi cam too, so I'll be posting pictures!

Thanks for all the help.

James
