One thing to be careful of with sealing the black-box perimeter: keep the silicone thin, or the black-box will be hard to keep in its place.
Also, do you have a digital camera? Photograph, photograph, photograph as you take it apart. Really helps if you need to know how something went together before the Great Opening, if you have that key photo.
