See, I wouldn't buy a Spectrum right now if it was me. It's the latest and most expensive radio on the market right now. You should be able to get a nice 72mhz radio for about $250 or less.

I'd wait about 3 or 5 yrs before I bought the Spektrum technology.. Let it cheapen up a bit and prove itself in the field first.

Buy a JR8103 or a Futaba 9C
The 8103 is no longer sold unless you are talking about a used one which I wouldn't recommend. I disagree on "waiting for the price to come down" on the spektrum a seven channel radio for $350 is already pretty darn cheap. If you spend $250 on a radio right now that is 72Mhz in a year it is going to be worth about a nickel. 72Mhz is done, I've seen first hand the difference in performance, and to be perfectly honest if it were me buying radio right now there is NO WAY it would be 72mhz. Spektrum is 100% PROVEN in my book based on FIRST HAND experience.
