Hi,

the 3w-48 has been replaced with the 3w-56. I have 2 of the 48s and they are a smooth running engine. While they are rated at 0.2 hp more than the 3w-50 single, they turn a 22 x 8 about 100-200 rpms less than the 3w-50 single. The 48 is rated at 5 hp where the 50 single is rated at 4.8 hp. The 56 twin should be more powerful.
