Thanks. Yep, chewed up the aluminum gears. duh, aluminum vs steel. Of course they got chewed up. Sorry, I have other RC trucks like T-Maxx and Mammoth, so I assumed that all gears were steel. I was going to purchase the Steel Set, but, wasnt sure if I had the correct CUSTOMRCCARS parts numbers. Your link helped me to confirm. Not bad, A $9 dollar Fix, one of my easier and cheaper repairs. Yipee. Already ordered the replacement. I should have known, because today's run, I was hearing the gears running much louder than normal, the temp guage was fine, and LSN/HSN settings right, then the car just stopped running.
